The Children's Museum of the Arts, founded in 1988, hosts artist-led parties that allow youthful museum-goers to explore the exhibits, create artwork and, of course, eat birthday cake in the Museum's private party room.

Parties are generally held on the weekends, and prices start at $475 for 15 children for the Art in the Afternoon package ($10 for each additional guest, with a maximum of 20 kids) and go up to $850 for 15 children (the Birthday Breakfast Party), with a surcharge of $15 for each additional child and a maximum of 30 guests.

Add ons include personalized cakes, party favors, paper goods, and food and beverages.
