Kids will flip for Bakery Soutine's traditional chocolate, vanilla or strawberry shortcake birthday cakes. Cakes come with a choice of vanilla, chocolate, caramel or mocha buttercream, whippped cream or chocolate glaze.

Bakery Soutine will also decorate the cake with flowers, designs, or children's artwork or favorite character, for a $20 an hour surcharge. Soutine can also provide cupcakes, frosting, sprinkles and pastry bags so that kids can decorate their own treats.

Cakes range in size from 7" ($24 and up), serving 8-10, all the way to full sheet cakes (14"x28"), which serve 120 and cost $245.

Cakes usually require at least two days' advance notice.
