Bronx Zoo

Short Description:

Kids will be as wild as the animals about a birthday party at the city's most famous and extensive zoo.

Long Description:

A birthday party at the Bronx Zoo allows New Yorkers ages 4-12 to get a closer look at some of their favorite animals. Parties are centered around themes such as Monkey Mania, Amazing African Safari and Adventure in the Rainforest, and include age-appropriate activities.

The two hour party consists of a 40 minute staff-led tour, followed by a half an hour for lunch in the private party room, with chicken fingers and French fries or pizza, and cake. Paper goods are included.

The last 50 minutes are spent on classroom activities, including crafts.

The basic fee ($900) is for a party of 15 children and includes admission, parking, food and paper goods. Up to 20 children can be accommodated for an additional fee of $50 per child.

There is also a pajama party ($5,000) for 15 children and two adults. This party includes a one-and-a-half hour tour of the zoo at night, a film, dinner and breakfast, and a sleepover in a private room overlooking the gorilla exhibit.

All parties are held October-June. Unfortunately, space is very limited and currently the Zoo is accepting bookings for September 2007 and later.
