Color Me Mine

Short Description:

TriBeCa's own Color Me Mine allows kids to feel like artists when they paint and decorate their own figurines, plates and mugs.

Long Description:

This downtown paint-it-yourself pottery emporium boasts a library of stencils, stamps and over 25,000 images for transfer. Color Me Mine staff also teach kids to paint the non toxic, lead free and food safe ceramics by blowing bubbles and using the shop's own tape technique. Once the young artists have crafted their artwork, Color Me Mine glazes and fires the pottery.

Kids can choose from one of several party options. The most popular choice is the hour and a half long party for 10-20 kids, which costs $400 plus the price of the bisque. Color Me Mine provides a staff member to lead the kids, as well as cake, invitations and a private party room equipped with a TV screen and sound system.

The studio party is two hours; it includes all of the above plus additional staff members for the up to 40 guests who will have the run of the whole studio. This party starts at $1,000.

For a cost of $100 plus the price of the bisque, Color Me Mine will also provide a staff member and a kit (which includes paints, palettes and brushes) for at-home parties.
