This urban nature organization boasts an aquarium, animal care and education center. Birthday parties are designed for kids ages 4-12, though occasionally APEC hosts events for children as young as 2. The two hour birthday parties at Alley Pond Environmental Center (APEC) include an indoor, age-appropriate nature discussion and live animal handling, a guided nature walk (weather permitting) and a craft project.

APEC also provides a party room for refreshments, though hosts provide all food and beverages.

Parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am - 12:00pm, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm and occasionally from 4:00pm - 6:00 pm. Prices start at $190 for the first 15 guests and $10 for each additional child for a maximum of 20.
