The New York Botanical GardenShort Description: The New York Botanical Garden boasts both a children's and a family garden -- a great site for a do-it-yourself birthday party. Long Description: Founded in 1891, The New York Botanical Garden houses one of the world's greatest plant collections. While the Garden does not host children's parties per se, The Everett Children's Adventure Garden and the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden are designed for kids and families, and often host programs and activities that make suitable birthday activities.
