Founded in 2005 by longtime dance professional and teacher Dina Rivera, Let's Dance Brooklyn! offers classes in ballet and movement for toddlers and children. For parties, a Let's Dance Brooklyn! teacher will come to you and teach a 45 minute class in either creative ballet for kids 3 and 1/2 and up or creative dance and music for 2 and 3 year olds. For toddlers, the interactive lesson gets kids moving with music, scarves, props and instruments, while creative ballet teaches an age-appropriate dance lesson. The Ballerina Dance party, which is for girls only, features wands, ribbons and an actual ballerina, who will perform for the children at the end of the class.
Lets's Dance Brooklyn! dancers are all trained professional dancers with experience teaching children.
Prices start at $150 for a class of up to 10 children. For up to 15 children, the price is $200, and for up to 20, the cost is $250. For parties with 15 or more guests, another dance teacher will be present.
