Forager Steve Brill -- featured everywhere from <i>The New York Times </i> to The Food Network -- leads tours at kids' parties, teaching children about nature, ecology and wild food right here in New York City parks.

Lecture tours last one hour and Brill uses a mix of comedy, science and history to educate his charges, who will bring home berries, roots and seeds as well as knowledge about the natural world. They will also learn about the importance of not eating everything they find, "at least not without trying it on a teacher first," according to Brill.

Brill can accommodate a maximum of about 30 kids. He leads groups throughout the metro area, and tours are geared towards kids ages 4-11.
