Kids 2-8 will have a great time at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's dance class parties. Children choose from options such as Creatve Movement, Music Video/Hip Hop, Groovy Girls and Guys, West African and Prince and Princess styles and learn moves with an instructor.

Parties last 90 minutes and include a dance instructor as well as a party host, plus invitations, balloons, paper goods, gift bags and a meal of pizza, beverages and birthday cake. Parties are held on Sundays from 12:30 - 2:00 pm and from 3:30 - 5:00 pm.

Alvin Ailey also rents studio space for parties and receptions for $50 an hour and up. There are 12 studios, which range in size from 30x45 square feet to 38x50 square feet.
